Welcome to DelphiHowTo. I provide here
some examples of how some of the things work in Delphi as well as how to achieve
some of the things in Delphi. Since C++Builder includes a Delphi compiler, most
of the examples would work as is with C++Builder too.
Commercial Components
TAnimationFX
Add over 150 animation effects to images on your forms. A great component for use in
about boxes, splash screens, easter eggs, etc.
Flicker-free
transparent animation effects on images is now supported.
TTransitionFX
Perform over 170 image transition effects with TTransitionFX. An ideal
component for adding image transitions to your own screen
savers, banners, about boxes, splash screens, and a lot of other
applications.
TImageProcessor
An component that provides a variety of image processing functions including
manipulate brightness and contrast of images, perform alfablend operations,
apply filters like blur, emboss, median, enhance brighter or darker areas on
images and a lot more.
AnimationFX
This is the ActiveX edition of the TAnimationFX component. While
TAnimationFX can be used with Delphi and C++Builder only, AnimationFX
ActiveX control can be used with all environments that support ActiveX
controls. This includes Visual Basic as well as Delphi and C++Builder.
TransitionFX
This is the ActiveX edition of the TTransitionFX component. TTransitionFX
can be used in Delphi and C++Builder environments only but TransitionFX
ActiveX control can be used with all environments that support ActiveX
controls. This includes Visual Basic as well as Delphi and C++Builder.
Freeware Components
TFileOperation
A simple wrapper over SHFileOperation() Shell API. Available with full
source code. SHFileOperation() enables you to perform file and folder
operations like copy, move, delete, delete to recycle bin. It can optionally
show animated progress of the operations.
Freeware Applications
World Clocks
A small 32-bit completely customizable Windows application that can display
any number of clocks showing
the times around the world. Try it out - its free.
Dependencies Shell
Extension
A Shell Extension that displays the dependencies of a Win32 module. Install
it and hover the mouse over any Win32 module and see the dependencies. Now
available with full source code.
